Stefanie Juten, MS, LAPC, NCC

Psychotherapist

(she/her)

You’re not looking for someone to just nod and listen; you want real change. Whether you’re coming to therapy as an individual or with your partner, I offer a straightforward, compassionate approach that blends honest feedback with evidence-based tools. My style is active and engaged: I’ll help you identify what’s not working, teach you skills to cope more effectively, and support you in making real, lasting changes.

I specialize in helping clients who feel stuck in patterns of emotional reactivity, avoidance, or disconnection; whether that’s in your relationship, your work, or your internal world. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), we’ll work together on building emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and more effective communication.

I work with both individuals and couples, including LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse clients, and those in ethically non-monogamous relationships. My approach is direct but always grounded in respect and care. If you’re looking for therapy that gets to the heart of the issue and gives you tools you can actually use. Let’s talk.
