Catrin Lloyd-Bollard, BA

Intern Psychotherapist

(she/her)

Everyone deserves an ally in their healing journey—and that’s who Catrin strives to be. Her therapy practice is rooted in radical acceptance, compassion, and a deep belief in each person’s capacity to grow, heal, and thrive.

Catrin supports adults navigating a wide range of mental health concerns. Some clients come to her struggling with intrusive thoughts, rumination, or difficulty getting out of bed. Others feel weighed down by self-doubt, hopelessness, or a sense of being misunderstood and alone. Many are working through the impact of trauma, discrimination, societal pressures, or relational distress. Some simply know something feels off, even if they can’t quite name it yet. Whatever brings you to therapy, Catrin offers a grounded, nonjudgmental space where you can explore, heal, and reconnect with your inner resilience.

Her approach is relational, person-centered, and trauma-informed, incorporating mindfulness practices and somatic techniques. She offers inclusive, affirming care to LGBTQ+ and BIPOC clients and works through the lenses of radical feminism, queer theory, and anti-racism. Catrin is sex-positive, body neutral, kink-aware, and affirming of polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous relationships. She values radical empathy, creativity, critical thinking, and deep curiosity. Above all, she values you and your unique process. In her practice, there are no expectations other than the ones you set for yourself.

Catrin holds a bachelor’s degree in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Harvard University. She is certified in Telemental Health and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Commonwealth University of PA, Lock Haven. She brings over a decade of experience working in nonprofit arts spaces, has a personal artistic practice in visual and performance art, and is an avid birdwatcher. Catrin lives in Northampton, Massachusetts with her cat, Elizabeth Cotton.
