Relational Therapy

Relational therapy centers the healing power of relationships—especially the one between client and therapist. It views the therapeutic relationship as a live, dynamic space where the client’s relational patterns naturally emerge. Instead of analyzing relationships from a distance, relational therapy invites exploration of what unfolds in the therapy room itself.

Clients can expect the therapist to be actively engaged, authentic, and emotionally attuned. Together, they examine how the client relates to the therapist—whether through trust, vulnerability, avoidance, or conflict—as a reflection of how they relate to others in their life. This “here-and-now” focus allows for real-time insight into unconscious patterns, attachment styles, and emotional needs. By working through these dynamics in a safe, supportive environment, clients can begin to develop new ways of connecting—with themselves and with others.
